Shane Batham has been quoted in one Australian publication as being an "internationally recognised underwater [photographic] specialist", although he'd never tell you that himself!

Not only has he been taking underwater photography and video for over 14 years, but he has also turned his hand to landscape photography. Living in the perfect Whitsundays for 14 years has greatly facilitated his love for the photography of landscapes and seascapes alike.

"My appreciation and respect of the sea and it's inhabitants is plainly clear in all my photos - above and below the waterline. The beach and the ocean have been such an enormous part of my life since I moved to Airlie Beach 14 years ago, that I feel that I will be eternally trying to capture their pure beauty on film for as long as I'm able."
